By using the G.E Canada Auto Recycling website, submitting a form, or entering into a transaction with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance
These terms govern your use of our website, online services, and any communication with our team. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Who we are
G.E Canada Auto Recycling is the trade name of 9528-0061 Québec Inc., a licensed auto recycler in Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec, Canada (Office Permit 2111457-1 · SAAQ Licence A2005). We buy, recondition, resell and export damaged, written-off and salvage vehicles.
3. Vehicle sales — as-is
All vehicles are sold as-is, without express or implied warranty, unless otherwise stated in writing. Buyers are responsible for inspection before purchase. We encourage a yard visit or independent assessment.
4. Brand status and disclosure
In compliance with Canadian law, we disclose brand status (normal, salvage, rebuilt, irreparable), damage history, VIN and photos on every listing. The buyer acknowledges receiving this information before purchase.
5. Listed prices and offers
Listed prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change without notice until a sale is finalized. Offers submitted through our site are proposals — we reserve the right to accept, decline or counter-offer.
6. Selling your vehicle
Purchase offers for vehicles submitted online are estimates based on information provided. A firm offer is confirmed after inspection. Free towing applies in Greater Montreal unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. International export
For overseas buyers, we prepare required export documentation (invoice, certificate, brand-status disclosure). The buyer is responsible for duties, taxes and import requirements in their destination country.
8. Payment and title transfer
Payment and title transfer occur only once agreed conditions are met and disclosures are signed. We are not liable for delays caused by third parties (financial institutions, carriers, customs).
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, G.E Canada Auto Recycling shall not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits or delays related to use of the site or purchase of a vehicle. Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the vehicle in question.
