Canadian brand statuses
In Canada every vehicle carries a brand status on its title. Here's what each one means:
Normal
No negative history. Standard vehicle, no loss declared.
Salvage
Damaged. Can be repaired and re-inspected. Cannot be driven as-is.
Rebuilt
Was salvage, repaired and passed inspection. Can drive — brand stays on title for life.
Irreparable
Parts or scrap only. Will never return to the road.
